4. What are Clipping Windows?
Clipping Windows are used for storing
commonly used effects & commands. Once you've created an effect
that you like, you can go to the edit menu and do a "Copy
to Clipping Window".
You can create your own clipping windows.
Effects can be run directly from the clipping window by double
clicking one of them or by selecting it and pressing Command Spacebar.
You can copy a clipping into your sequence by either selecting
it, selecting Copy and then selecting the correct number of tracks
and hitting Paste OR simply select the clipping and drag it into
your sequence. It will show an outline with the number of tracks
required and the length of the clipping.
Clipping windows are a great way to store effects, especially
blind page wipes which can be easily customized.
