3. How do I set up a Conductor Track & Tempo Map?

Change the tempo control to "Conductor Track".
If you double click the Conductor Track in the tracks window,
it will open the Conductor Track event editing list. You can insert
meter and tempo change commands to match your music.

Some songs might be fairly simply if they were recorded to
a click track reference, as is the one shown above. Only one small
change was needed.

Here is a song which required a lot of different tempo changes.
Also note that there were some meter changes from 4/4 to 3/4,
etc. Make sure to put all of these in, so that your measure and
beat numbers will accurately reflect the actual music.
If there are some ritards or other gradual tempo changes,
you might want to try using the "Change Tempo" command
which allows you to set a start measure & tempo, ending measure
& tempo and even a curve. With a couple of tries, this can
save you a lot of time.
You want to make sure that your audio starts at the beginning
of the sequence... delete any silent space from the beginning
in the audio graphic editing window. Refer to the FAQ question
about the audio editing window.
If the song has a pick-up note or something like that, you
might want to set the start of your chunk to measure 0, so that
the pick-up note(s) can be at 0/4/000 or wherever they need to
be, so that measure 1 is really measure 1. Refer to the FAQ question
about setting your sequence start time.
